Adam

A UCSB Grad and native of California, Adam has been surfing for 20 years. He enjoys working with guests and challenging individuals so that they take home memories that will last a lifetime.

Alden
|
Alden is originally from Waikiki, Oahu and has been surfing for over 20 years. He loves to teach the sport that originated in Hawaii, to keep the culture alive!
Fun Fact:
"I am the great grand nephew of Duke Kahanamoku, the founder of surfing."

Doug
|
Doug comes to us from New Zealand and has been surfing for about 4 years. His favorite part about teaching is when his students come back out after catching a wave with a big smile on their faces.
Fun Fact: Enjoys skydiving in his spare time, as well as watching the New Zealand All Blacks play rugby..."Go the Blacks!" |
Ekolu
|
Ekolu is a professional Stand Up Paddler and comes from our neighbour island Molokai. He's been surfing for 33 years. He likes to meet new people, watching customers get their first ride and how stoked they get when they catch a good one! Mother Ocean gives him peace and she's his best friend.
Fun Fact: He is also a professional musician and likes to have lots of FUN! |
Ikaika
|
Our local instructor Ikaika has been surfing since he is 3 years old. His favorite part about teaching is watching the kids smile after a surf ride, sharing da surf culture with everyone, watching everybody enjoy their vacation as a family or individual.

J.B. Falbo

Having lived most of his adult life in Hawaii (Oahu and Maui), J.B. came to us from Florida and has surfed since he was 10. What he likes most about teaching surfing is seeing the smiles of joy on his students faces after they stand up on a surfboard for the first time.
Fun Fact: J.B.'s son is an aspiring Maui surfer who plans to one day go Pro! |
Justin
|
Justin is from Florida and has been surfing for over 25 years. The greatest rewards from coaching new surfers is being able to share the experience of being "stoked" and helping others learn ocean safety and awareness so that the community of surfing can prosper into a beautiful culture. The ocean is the Zen to his life.
Fun Fact: He has experienced surfing in different countires such as Australia, Brazil, Mexico and the U.S. within many different beaches and environments.

Keoki

Surfing for 25 years, Keoki comes to us Kaua'i. His favorite thing about teaching is seeing people who have never surfed in their lives surfing and having a great time.
Fun Fact: Keoki loves EVERYTHING about the ocean! "I am a Hawaiian that lives off of the ocean and take pride in being raised in Hawaii." |
Nakoa

Nakoa is a native of Maui and has been surfing for 6 years. His favorite part about teaching is that he's getting to surf when the waves are good :-)! The waves and fishes are what he likes most about the ocean!

Renten
|
Originally from Kailua and Waimanalo on Oahu, Renten surfed for 7 years as a teen and took the sport back up at the young age of 41. His favorite part about teaching is seeing the joy and smiles...the bright eyes of students who discover a fresh and new hobby, sport and lifestyle.

Enjoys longboarding but says "Don't TIP your longboard...share your Aloha with your hardworking instructor". |
Sol
|
Sol moved 11 years ago from Puerto Escondido, Mexico to Maui. She started surfing when she was 17. It makes her happy to see the joy of her students when they get their first wave and brings back memories from when she started to surf. The Ocean is her playground, she loves surfing with the turtles and sea lions!
