Tommy founded Maui Wave Riders, Maui’s premier Surf School in 1997. He has over 31 years of surfing experience and has personally taught thousands how to surf in one easy lesson.

Tommy has surfed some of the largest waves at Pipeline on the North Shore. He has been featured in many surf movies and magazines all around the world.

Tommy’s patience and surf experience makes you feel safe and comfortable at all times. He adapts his teaching style to your ability and level.
